Speed/Abbreviated Dial

You can create as many as 199 快速拨号s to quickly dial phone numbers. 在 自我照顾门户网站, you can create speed/abbreviated dial numbers and edit or delete them. From your phone you can place a speed dial call.

注意: This option is only available online, you 不能 set it up on your phone.

Set up Speed/Abbr Dial numbers

1. 登录 to the the 自我照顾门户网站 (log in instructions can be accessed from the 登录 link located in the navigation menu on the right).

注意: 的 自我照顾门户网站 will automatically log you out after 15 minutes of non-use.

2. 在 自我照顾门户网站, select 手机设置 from the menu on the left.

4. 单击 下拉箭头 in front of the phone you want to add a 快速拨号号码 and then click the 添加新的快速拨号 link.

注意: If you have more than one phone you can click the Link button to apply the speed dial entries to all phones.

5. 在 增加快速拨号 pop-up window type the first name of an EMU employee in the 数字/ URI field and click on a number from the list Or, enter a phone number with no spaces, 逗号, 期, 或破折号. Enter one of the following:

  • EMU 5位 7号(xxxx)
  • 本地7位 number, preceded by the number "6" (6xxxxxxx)
  • long distance 10 digit number, preceded by the number "8, 1" (81xxxxxxxxxx)

7. Repeat steps 4-6 to add more contacts.

Place a 快速拨号 call

  1. With the handset still resting in the cradle, press the desired 快速拨号号码 assigned to your contact.
  2. 按下 快速拨号/AbbrDial功能键.
  3. Your call will ring in speaker mode. If you prefer privacy, pick up the handset to talk.

注意: 的 快速拨号/AbbrDial功能键 does not appear if you lift up the handset before hitting the 快速拨号号码 on the keypad.
