安全 Awareness Training
EMU has licensed the KnowBe4 cybersecurity awareness training program for use during the 2022-2023 Academic Years. Over the course of the program employees will receive twelve training module assignments, with the first module being assigned in mid-September 2022.Each interactive module will require an average of 5-15 minutes to complete and will be due approximately 30 days following its assignment.
How do I login to the Knowbe4 training?
All training modules will be delivered through the KnowBe4 Training Platform. To access the KnowBe4 Training platform:

- Click the Training tab.
- Locate the assigned module and click to start the module.
- Complete all pages in the assigned module so that the platform will mark the assignment as complete.

Who will be enrolled in the program?

How will program results and data be used?
展开下拉Assignment completion data will be reported to the executive team to facilitate helping everyone complete the program. Results may also be used to customize assignments or program options where one or more groups may benefit from additional information or training.
匿名统计, aggregate and/or summary analysis data about program participation and results may be publicly released and used in publications. Data that identifies individuals or employment classes will not be publicly released.
Why are we requiring this training?
展开下拉Computer security threats are a risk for employees both at the office and at 首页. This training is intended to increase our understanding of cybersecurity and reduce the risk of being victimized. Recognizing and avoiding cybersecurity risks can prevent the loss of data, time, and money. In terms of lost productivity alone, it’s estimated that phishing costs employers approximately $180 per employee, 每年. At EMU, that estimate translates to almost $400,000 in lost productivity in a year.
